Hello everyone, my name is Edwin. I’m just a normal guy trying to find peace in Jesus Christ. I was born and raised in Arizona, grew up in a Christian household, and now I’m in my late 30s, 38 to be exact. When I was younger, I was into the whole Jesus thing, but once I hit my teenage years, I drifted off and started doing my own thing.
Over the years, I have tried different paths. I spent time exploring Buddhism I went to temples, sat in meditation, and really tried to understand it. I also went through 12‑step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, following the “higher power of your choice” approach. I gave all of it a real shot, but none of it stuck with me for long.
I seek peace and truth. I want what Jesus says in Matthew 11:28–30 (KJV):
“Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
That’s what I want, to feel like I belong and to be at peace no matter what I’m going through in life.
